A podcast about how the lost generation found itself.

A passion project born from Eve’s 25th college reunion, GenX Stories explores how the so-called “Lost Generation” found itself. Firmly sandwiched in between Boomers and Millennials, GenXers have a surprising new label: Middle aged. But what about the personal stories of the real people we were then and who we’ve become? That’s the question we hope to answer in each episode.

Eve is joined every other Wednesday by a gang of 3 kick-ass GenXers - Lori, Chris and Courtney - for a fun and frank discussion about what made us and what’s next. And if that’s not enough, GenX Stories also won a 2022 W3 Award for Best in Show!

Meet our hosts

Eve

A lapsed Philosophy major with an MFA in theatrical lighting design and 26 years experience in the web design industry, Eve is the executive producer & host of GenX Stories. By day, she is the founder & chief storyteller at Eve Simon Creative but will always be an 80’s Madonna girl at heart and may or may not be obsessed with Ampersands.

Lori

Lori is a 50 something proud GenX’er living in Northern California.  She is a seasoned corporate event producer, self-proclaimed 80’s music lover, champagne drinker and dog lover. GenX Stories is her first foray into podcasts and she can’t wait to dive in head first into all things GenX, past, present, and future.

Chris

An Emmy winning production designer, Chris comes to GenX Stories from 26+ years in late nite comedy. Recently he brought his quirky AF humor to the Conan Show, having previously worked at the Late Show with David Letterman. An internet breaking MRI of his pug was immortalized in Andy Richter's viral twitter post, but definitely prepare yourself before you click that link. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya.

Courtney

A University of Pennsylvania graduate living in California with her husband and GenZ son, Courtney is GenX Stories’ resident historian. She definitely has some stories to tell and we all think she’s pretty awesome.
